After an overall dominant performance last season, Verstappen is expecting a repeat in 2023 after coming away with a Formula One record of 15 wins in a season and the undisputed title of World Champion. The RB18 proved to be no match for the rest of the grid as Verstappen repeatedly battled his way through the pack to finish first a whopping 65% of the time, earning 454 championship points by the conclusion of Abu Dhabi. The driver of the No. 1 Red Bull found no consistent competition with any of the other constructors and kept a firm grip on the championship standings following his only 2 DNFs of the season at Bahrain and Melbourne.
