2021 Defense Projections
2020 Fantasy Outlook
A season-ending rib injury to Aqib Talib in October opened the door for Hill to start nine games in 2019, and he responded with a career-high 43 tackles and 12th-ranked Pro Football Focus grade among cornerbacks. The grade is all the more impressive considering Hill's underwhelming athleticism and small stature (5-11, 183). He should see a lot of throws come his way this season starting opposite shutdown corner Jalen Ramsey, which positions Hill to rack up a lot of tackles and passes defensed. Still, 2019 third-round selection David Long will be pushing for additional playing time, and Hill hasn't been a reliable fantasy producer over the past four seasons with the Rams. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS

Posts career-high numbers
Hill recorded a career-high 77 tackles (55 solo) to go with three interceptions and 10 pass breakups over 16 appearances during the 2020 regular season.
ANALYSIS
The sixth-year cornerback started all 16 games for the first time in his career and noticed a spike in his production across the board. Hill's coverage skills on the outside enabled fellow cornerback Jalen Ramsey to play the star role in the Los Angeles defense and move all over the field. Hill hits free agency during the offseason, so his 2021 fantasy outlook is up in the air until he signs a new contract.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
Hill started a career-high seven games last season and recorded 34 tackles (29 solo), two interceptions and five passes defensed. He's projected to slot into a backup role with Aqib Talib and Marcus Peters starting at cornerback, and Nickell Robey-Coleman serving as the primary nickle corner. However, Hill proved he can fill in and start last season, and his new two-year contract proves the team is confident in his abilities. He just shouldn't be viewed as a reliable fantasy asset entering the 2019 season.
