Decker (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.

Decker was unable to practice this past week due to a shoulder injury and will miss a second consecutive game as a result. With Decker and Giovanni Manu (knee) both ruled out, Dan Skipper could serve as the Lions' starting left tackle for Sunday's contest.

Decker re-signed with the Lions in July ahead of what will be his ninth campaign with the team, operating as their starting left tackle in 2024.
Decker spent a chunk of the offseason rehabbing a foot injury he picked up in the 2022 season finale, but the Ohio State product had no issues entering training camp and is expected to help anchor a potentially-elite Lions offensive line.
It was fun to see Decker snag his second career touchdown last January, but receiving cameos will continue to be a side gig for the stud left tackle.
Decker is coming off arguably his best season as a pro and remains locked in as the Lions' starting left tackle.

Might not return this season
OTDetroit Lions
October 21, 2021
Decker, who is rehabbing from a finger injury, might not return to action this year, according to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk.
ANALYSIS
The Lions designated Decker for return from injured reserve last week but did not activate him for their Week 6 game against the Bengals, and head coach Dan Campbell said there's a chance that they don't activate Decker at all. It seems the left tackle "kind of hit somebody" while wearing a protective covering on his injured finger at practice last week and the finger has responded poorly, which kept him from practicing last Friday and this Wednesday. At this point, it wouldn't be surprising if Decker does not return at all in 2021.
