Gates requires another procedure to address his leg injury, one which coach Joe Judge said could potentially be career-ending, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.
ANALYSIS
"We're confident [Gates will] be able to come back," Judge said, "but yes, it could be career-ending," per Vacchiano. The interior offensive lineman already underwent a procedure to address fractures in his fibula and tibia last week, but he has not had to return to a hospital and is in need of a follow-up surgery.
