2020 Fantasy Outlook
Aiyuk figures to see work on punt and kick returns, given his quickness, explosiveness and vision in the open field. The question is how many looks he'll see as a wideout. At 6-1, 206, he has decent size but only average long speed (4.50 40), though his vertical leap (40 inches) and broad jump (128 inches) were near the top of his class. Aiyuk is excellent after the catch, able to make defenders miss, and he finishes off plays like a running back. His fate will likely depend on his work before the catch, however - getting off the line of scrimmage and running strong routes. Luckily, he landed in an almost ideal setting - the Niners let Emmanuel Sanders go this offseason, leaving only Deebo Samuel ahead of Aiyuk on the receiver depth chart. Kendrick Bourne is still around in the slot, but Aiyuk could enter his rookie season as the team's top outside receiver if Samuel doesn't recover from June foot surgery in time for Week 1. RANKS

Won't play in Week 17
Aiyuk, who suffered a high-ankle sprain in this past Saturday's win over the Cardinals, won't play in Sunday's season finale against the Seahawks, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Aiyuk thus finishes the campaign with a team-high 60 catches (on 96 targets) for 748 yards and five TDs in 12 games. Looking ahead to next season, the 2020 first-rounder will bring solid fantasy upside to the table, but the 49ers offense could look a bit different next season, once the team's offseason personnel moves shake out.

John McKechnie and Mario Puig break down Mario's top players to fade at ADP in Best Ball Drafts, headlined by the perils of drafting Joe Burrow ahead of Trevor Lawrence and much more!

Although he's one of the league's most exciting receivers, Brandon Aiyuk's current price tag acts as if George Kittle and Deebo Samuel don't exist.

Kenny Golladay stood resolute against a cold market for free agent wide receivers and secured the payday he was looking for, and now he leaves Detroit for the Giants.

Trevor Lawrence may be a rookie but his upside is substantial and his starting role is all but assured, leading the writer to select Lawrence as his QB2 in the third round.
