Arian Smith

23-Year-Old Wide ReceiverWR
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Smith was selected 110th overall by the Jets in the 2025 NFL Draft after leading Georgia with 841 receiving yards in 2024. His 4.36 speed brings a unique element to a Jets offense with a wide open WR depth chart behind Garrett Wilson, but Smith had an SEC-worst 10 drops in his final college season. Smith could carve out a prominent role right away if he curbs the drops, or he could be stuck behind some combination of Allen Lazard, Josh Reynolds, Malachi Corley, Tyler Johnson and Xavier Gipson. Makes first NFL catch
WRNew York Jets
September 14, 2025
Smith caught one of two targets for eight yards and rushed once for minus-10 yards in Sunday's 30-10 loss to the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Smith was the only Jets wide receiver other than Garrett Wilson to log a catch in the absence of Josh Reynolds (hamstring). It was the first catch of Smith's NFL career, as the rookie fourth-round pick was blanked in his regular-season debut against the Steelers in Week 1.

In line for role as rookie
WRNew York Jets
August 26, 2025
Smith will be counted on to add explosiveness to the Jets' wide receiver corps in 2025, Rich Cimini of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The Jets have unproven pass catchers behind Garrett Wilson after parting ways with Malachi Corley, a third-round pick in 2024. That move shows confidence in Smith, who is known for his speed but also his struggles with catching the ball consistently. Smith may not put up big numbers, but as a downfield threat he could help clear up the short and middle areas of the field for Wilson and rookie tight end Mason Taylor.
