With Pinter down, Pocic looks like the next man up on the depth chart. The former Brown and Seahawk made 57 regular-season starts for Cleveland over the last four years.

Pocic became the favorite to be the Ravens' starting center in Week 1 when Danny Pinter suffered a season-ending knee injury last week, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Pocic could well have won the job anyway, but the veteran lineman has been brought along very slowly in the early part of training camp as he recovers from an Achilles injury of his own that he suffered in December 2025. Coach Jesse Minter has already indicated that Pocic's activity level would be ramped up this week, but that was the plan independent of Pinter's injury. Pocic is heading into his 10th NFL season after being a second-round pick of the Seahawks in 2017, and he's started 97 of his 114 career regular-season contests.
