                2025 Fantasy Outlook

Dortch has bounced between the third and fourth spot on Arizona's WR depth chart since 2022, finishing in the range of 280 to 467 receiving yards in three consecutive seasons. He's also returned kicks and punts during that time, making him useful in return-yardage leagues if nothing else. Dortch runs crisp routes and is elusive with the ball in his hands, but his straight-line speed is merely average, which is a severe limitation when you're one of the smallest players in the league (5-foot-7, 175 pounds). He and Zay Jones may compete for slot snaps this summer, after the Cardinals failed to make noteworthy additions to the WR room this offseason, instead banking on internal improvement from lanky perimeter targets Marvin Harrison and Michael Wilson. Finds end zone in loss
Dortch caught all three of his targets for nine yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-27 loss to the Colts.
				ANALYSIS
Dortch's trip to the end zone was his first touchdown of the 2025 campaign. The 27-year-old wideout's 44 percent offensive snap share was his second highest mark of the season, likely due to teammate Marvin Harrison leaving the game early due to a concussion suffered in the second quarter of the contest. Despite scoring his first touchdown of the season and playing more snaps in Week 6, Dortch remains very difficult to trust for fantasy purposes, even if Harrison is sidelined for a Week 7 matchup against the Packers.

The bars represents the team's percentile rank (based on QB Rating Against). The longer the bar, the better their pass defense is. The team and position group ratings only include players that are currently on the roster and not on injured reserve. The list of players in the table only includes defenders with at least 3 attempts against them.

This section compares his draft workout metrics with players at the same position. The bar represents the player's percentile rank. For example, if the bar is halfway across, then the player falls into the 50th percentile for that metric and it would be considered average.

Injuries opened up opportunities for Dorth the past two seasons, and each time he proved to be capable of solid production from the slot. The 2019 UDFA bounced around the league for years, mostly viewed as a punt returner, before finding his home in Arizona in 2022 and 2023. At 5-7, 175, Dortch is one of the smaller players in the league and rarely takes snaps on the perimeter. That might not be a bad thing, as the Cardinals have two big WRs in Marvin Harrison and Michael Wilson, potentially allowing Dortch to enter Week 1 as the No. 3 receiver and slot specialist. He started off lower on the depth chart the past two seasons, yet ended up seeing seven or more targets in eight games and double-digit targets four times The ball tends to find Dortch when he's on the field a lot, with his ability to gain yards after the catch making up for a lack of size and straight-line speed.

    Gets boost from Jones suspension
Dortch should be in line for additional targets due to the five-game suspension that Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports was issued by the NFL to Zay Jones on Friday,
				ANALYSIS
Dortch already had a solid outlook heading into the 2024 season, considering his durability and body of work over the last two seasons in particular. However, the fifth-year pro now seems to be in line for even more opportunity over the first five games of the season, especially considering he typically operates in the short-to-intermediate areas of the field that are also often Jones' domain.
