A seventh-round pick in 2023, Brooks wasn't very productive in college and lacks standout speed or agility, but his size, strength and ability to bully his way to 50-50 balls could allow him to carve out a role in the NFL as a chain-mover and red-zone option. With Noah Brown now in Houston, Dallas has an opening for a physical depth receiver who can contribute as a run blocker and made contested catches, a job Brooks seems well-suited for. The Cowboys figure to return most of their key offensive personnel in 2024, but if Michael Gallup or Brandin Cooks becomes cap casualties in the offseason, Brooks could move into a bigger role.
