Rest-of-Season Projections
Signed a contract with the Chiefs in March of 2026.
Back with KC on practice squad
The Chiefs signed Kohou to the practice squad Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Kohou failed to make the Chiefs' 53-man roster at the end of training camp but will stay in Kansas City on the team's practice squad. He has fully recovered from a torn ACL that cost him the entire 2025 season. Kohou appeared in 15 regular-season games for the Dolphins in 2024, logging 45 tackles (33 solo), eight pass defenses (including two interceptions), one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. He would be a candidate to be elevated to the Chiefs' active roster if L'Jarius Sneed (knee) were to miss time.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
2023
Kohou started nine of his 15 appearances with Miami last season, and the team's decision to tender him this offseason seems to hint at his being primed for a starting role at slot cornerback. An unfortunate ACL tear during training camp, however, will force him to miss all of 2025. While Kohou had career lows in terms of defensive snaps (671), total tackles (45) and passes defensed (eight) in 2024, he also did log a career-best two interceptions.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could be out of corner battle
Kohou doesn't appear to be one of the six Kansas City cornerbacks that Nate Taylor of ESPN believes will compete for three starting spots in training camp.
ANALYSIS
After missing the entire 2025 season while recovering from an ACL injury, Kohou signed a modest one-year contract with Kansas City in March. The 27-year-old had been an effective slot corner for the Dolphins prior to the injury, but Christian Roland-Wallace and 2026 fourth-round pick Jadon Canady appear to be the prime candidates to win that starting job.
