Rest-of-Season Projections
2024 Fantasy Outlook
This is a big season for Humphrey, who is one of the highest-paid corners in the league and is coming off an injury-marred 2023. At 28 years of age, Humphrey can still bounce back if he can stay healthy. Over the last three campaigns, the 2017 first-rounder has missed 12 games, including seven last year. His coverage stats actually improved last season as he allowed a mere 34 percent completion rate and 4.8 YPA in coverage. However, Humphrey's IDP appeal has largely been tied to his ability to rack up tackles from the cornerback spot and that number dipped to just 26 in 2023. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Big day in loss to Las Vegas
Humphrey recorded 10 tackles (eight solo) and one interception in Sunday's loss to Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Humphrey's 10 tackles versus the Raiders marked a new career high for the eighth-year pro. With the Ravens up 6-3 late in the second quarter, Humphrey picked off Gardner Minshew to set up an eventual Justin Tucker field goal attempt, one he would miss from 56 yards. Through two contests, Humphrey has 12 tackles (nine solo), one interception and one pass breakup.

Michael Pittman got back on track in Week 4 and should keep it rolling in Week 5, as neither the Jags nor Colts have viable coverage personnel.
George Pickens should get going against an Indianapolis defense with questionable boundary personnel
If Patrick Surtain shadows Mike Evans on the boundary then it could create a target funnel to Chris Godwin in the slot.
Amon-Ra St. Brown will likely torch a thin Buccaneers secondary playing without its star enforcer in Antoine Winfield.

Humphrey had a bounce-back season in 2022 after an injury-shortened 2021 that was full of uncharacteristic struggles. He allowed six touchdowns in just 12 games in 2021 and cut that number to just two on 62 attempts over 17 games in 2022. Humphrey was also active as a tackler (71) and logged a career-high three sacks. He'll be 27 this season and is still in his prime as one of the best corners in the league. Humphrey is a reliable source of tackles for a corner and he has turnover and forced fumble upside, making him a coveted asset in IDP leagues.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Future in Baltimore uncertain
Humphrey may need a strong season with the Ravens in 2024 to avoid being a cap casualty next spring, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The Pro Bowl cornerback signed an extension in 2020 that still has three seasons remaining on it, but his salary cap hit for each of those seasons is north of $22 million. That might be acceptable for Baltimore if he were still an elite contributor, but Humphrey has missed significant time with injuries in two of the last three campaigns, and after racking up double-digit passes defended in each of his first five NFL campaigns, he's managed only 12 in 27 regular-season games since 2022. If Humphrey can't stay on the field and make an impact, he could be released in 2025, when his dead cap hit would shrink to about $16.7 million.
