ANALYSIS

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Wirfs has already validated his selection as the 13th overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft with his stellar play at right tackle, earning two Pro Bowl selections and one All-Pro nod as well over his first three seasons. Aiming for Week 5 return
OTTampa Bay Buccaneers
September 16, 2025
Wirfs is aiming for a Week 5 return from his knee injury, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Wirfs suffered a knee injury during the preseason but avoided the PUP list, a move that suggested he could return within the first four weeks of the season. The left tackle could return sooner than Week 5, but he wants to be at full strength when he does. The Buccaneers also lost Luke Goedeke, their starting right tackle, to a foot injury in Monday's win over the Texans, leaving them with a shorthanded offensive line for the foreseeable future.
