Nicklaus and playing partner Tom Watson successfully defended their Champions Skins Game title on Sunday, earning seven skins and $310,000 in the alternate-shot tournament. Mark O'Meara and Bernhard Langer finished second with $300,000 on seven skins.
ANALYSIS
The defending champs did most of their damage at the par-3 17th hole, earning five skins and $250,000 when Nicklaus put Watson in position to make a 12-foot birdie putt to win the hole. The 71-year old Nicklaus now has five senior skins titles to his credit.
