2025 Fantasy Outlook
An knocked on the door of his first PGA Tour win in 2024 on a few occasions. He got the year off to a great start going 4th-T2 in the Hawaii Swing. Then posted back-to-back top-five results at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson and the Wells Fargo Championship. All told it was 12 top-25 finishes on the PGA Tour in 2024 for An, who also added a win on the DP World Tour in the fall in his home country of South Korea. In 2022-23 An was third in SG: Around-the-Green, and while that fell pretty significantly in 2024, his ball-striking was more reliable. He ranked 22nd in SG: Off-the-Tee and gained on approach in 14 of his last 16 starts. An has the firepower to make a ton of birdies and very well could get that first PGA Tour win in 2025. Fails to qualify for playoffs
An shot rounds of 68-72 to miss the cut at the Wyndham Championship and will not qualify for the FedExCup Playoffs.
ANALYSIS
An came into the week firmly on the bubble at No. 69, but missing the cut by three shots did nothing to help those hopes. Chris Kirk turned in another strong performance and jumped into the top-70, while An was left on the outside looking in. The Korean will end his season with two top-10s and five top-25s, but hasn't finished better than T60 in his last five starts. An made the TOUR Championship last year so he will look to regroup and try to find that form again for 2026. He will likely play some events in the FedExCup Fall as well as on the DP World Tour later in the year.

An played in 31 events this past season and made the cut in over 77% of them. He also earned over $3 million this past season, which was a career high. Those are the highlights, now the troubling part. An didn't often fare well when playing elevated events. He was also suspended at the end of the season for three months because of a banned substance in his system. The substance in question is available over the counter in his homeland, so perhaps that's much ado about nothing, but that stigma could prove problematic going forward. In other words, An, who has been very consistent to this point in his career, is a bit of a wild card this season.
