2025 Fantasy Outlook
Hatton was the second-biggest name to jump ship from the PGA Tour to LIV Golf last season, and the Englishman ended up joining the other defector, Jon Rahm, on Legion XIII. Hatton’s brash and curse-riddled commentary could easily be picked up on the mics and by the fans, but nonetheless, he was one of the top performers of the LIV Golf League in 2024. He finished fourth in the individual season standings with 161.49 points, won LIV Golf Nashville in June and accrued points in all but one tournament (Greenbrier). Hatton did fairly well in the majors, with his ninth-place finish at The Masters being his best outings of the four (he finished T63 at the PGA Championship, T26 at the U.S. Open Championship and missed the cut at The Open). Hatton should be in the field for all four majors in 2025. Read Past Outlooks
Surges to second at Dunhill Links
Hatton fired a seven-under 65 in the final round of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship to finish in solo second place.
ANALYSIS
Hatton was the defending winner of this event and looking to notch his fourth career victory at the Dunhill Links. Weather heavily affected the tournament and it was shortened to 54 holes. Hatton made his final round at St Andrews count with a bogey-free effort to surge up the leaderboard by 20 positions. This is also his third career runner-up at the Dunhill Links. Hatton is now a distance second in the Race to Dubai standings to Rory McIlroy, but will look to chip away down the stretch.

It was another strong season for Tyrrell Hatton, but unfortunately he is still sitting on a lone PGA Tour win in 2020 at Bay Hill. Hatton only missed one cut in 21 starts in 2022-23 and finished top-six on seven occasions. The Englishman doesn't really have any weaknesses and shines on the greens, ranking top-10 in putting over the last two seasons. Hatton certainly has the upside to have a $10 million year, but he likely will need to visit the winner's circle a couple times to do so.
