Solo third at Panama Championship
February 1, 2026
Cone ended The Panama Championship with a one-over 71 in the final round to finish solo third behind winner Ian Holt and runner-up Adam Hadwin.
ANALYSIS
Cone would have finished tied with Hadwin for second had the former not bogeyed two of the last three holes of the final round. His 15 birdies were tied for third most in the field and he ranked T26 in GIR. Cone will enter next week's Astara Golf Championship ranked sixth in the Korn Ferry Tour standings with 247.33 points.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2023
Cone missed the cut in 17 of 30 PGA Tour starts when he last held status in 2022-23, but he'll be back in 2025 after a successful 2024 campaign on the Korn Ferry Tour where he racked up six top-10s and 11 top-25s across 24 outings. The 32-year-old excelled witth his ball striking this past season, ranking 12th or better on the KFT in each of GIR percentage, total driving and driving distance.
Cone managed only four top-25 finishes through 23 starts on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2022, but he found a ceiling outcome at the AdventHealth Championship in May where he won by one stroke. He hadn't won on the KFT since 2018 prior to his life-changing victory this year in Kansas City, which allowed him to earn a PGA Tour card for the first time in his career. Cone ranked eighth on the KFT in driving distance and 11th in GIR percentage, but he fell to 131st or worse in both putts per round and scrambling.
