Ville Husso News: Lands on waivers

Husso was waived by the Ducks on Tuesday, according to Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune.

Husso was behind Lukas Dostal and Petr Mrazek on the depth chart, so this transaction isn't much of a surprise. Husso has underwhelmed in the NHL over the last several years, so it seems unlikely he'd be claimed on the waiver wire. The Finnish netminder will link up with AHL San Diego if he doesn't find a new home in the next 24 hours.
