Voracek had a strange season. The six goals he scored marked his lowest total in his 14-year NHL career. His 4.1 percent shooting percentage was also his lowest mark, so there should be some positive regression forthcoming in that area. On a more positive note, Voracek topped the 60-point mark (62) for the sixth time, while adding 25 power-play points, his most since 2017-18 with the Flyers. Voracek will be 33 years old for all of the 2022-23 season and appears to be one of the Columbus players most at risk of losing playing time, particularly with the man advantage, following the Jackets' surprising signing of Johnny Gaudreau in unrestricted free agency. Voracek should still be able to carve out late-round fantasy value, but the upside here is quite limited.

Latest Fantasy Rumors

Flyers looking to move him
The Flyers intend to leave Voracek unprotected in the upcoming expansion draft and will look to trade the veteran winger if he isn't selected by Seattle, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Voracek has three years left on a deal with an annual cap hit of $8.25 million, but his actual money owed is less than that cap hit, which could make trading for the 31-year-old winger more palatable for some of the league's lower-revenue teams. Philadelphia simply isn't getting good bang for the buck out of Voracek, who has seen his point total drop for three consecutive seasons since racking up a career-high 85 in 2017-18. He has value due to his playmaking ability, but Voracek has potted just 21 goals over the last two seasons combined.
