Morgan Frost
Morgan Frost
20-Year-Old CenterC
Philadelphia Flyers
2019 Fantasy Outlook
Frost has yet to play in the AHL, but he's absolutely dominated the OHL during the past two campaigns, racking up 79 goals and 221 points in 125 games with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. The 2017 first-round pick has a mean streak, too, as he's recorded 0.8 PIM per contest over that same span. The Flyers just signed forward Kevin Hayes (who will likely play center on the second line) to a seven-year, $50 million deal, but Frost still figures to be involved in the competition for the third-line center role during training camp. The 20-year-old pivot is a must-own player in dynasty leagues, but he's probably still a year or two away from being worth a pick in re-draft formats. Read Past Outlooks

Sent down to minors
CPhiladelphia Flyers  Minors
September 27, 2019
Frost (groin) was demoted to AHL Lehigh Valley on Friday, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ANALYSIS
With Nolan Patrick (head) facing an extended absence, Frost seemed to be a prime candidate for a spot on the Flyers' Opening Night roster. The 20-year-old topped 100 points in each of his previous two OHL campaigns, but was also limited during training camp due to a groin injury. If he can transition his scoring touch to the AHL game, the center won't be in the minors for long.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
Frost is an intriguing prospect for the future after racking up 112 points in 67 games for OHL Sault Ste. Marie last season, as well as being named to the OHL First All-Star Team. The Flyers have already reassigned the speedy center to juniors, so he won't make an impact this year, yet might be worth stashing in deeper dynasty formats.
