Raty's per-game production in 2025-26 was nothing special, as he logged four goals and 10 assists in 66 games for the Canucks. He added 165 hits, 65 shots on net and 22 PIM while primarily playing in the bottom six. Considering he had 11 points in 33 outings the year before, this was a bit of a step back. His struggles were understandable, considering the Canucks were the worst team in the league. That will likely give him an opportunity again in 2026-27, though Raty is more of a defensive and physical forward. He should pile up hits while averaging just over a shot per game. Raty hadn't scored since Dec. 6 versus the Wild, when he had two goals and an assist. The 23-year-old was limited to one assist over a 24-game span, but he was able to snap the slump with a second-period tally Tuesday. For the season, he's at four goals, 13 points, 51 shots on net, 122 hits, 22 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 51 appearances. While the offense isn't always there, he's shown decent defensive responsibility in a fourth-line role.

Raty has proven himself at the AHL level, recording 35 goals and 92 points across 115 regular-season outings with Abbotsford over the past two campaigns. However, his opportunities in the NHL have been limited. Although he logged 33 games with Vancouver in 2024-25, the 22-year-old center averaged a modest 10:39 of ice time. He finished with seven goals, 11 points, 14 PIM and 80 hits with the Canucks, which are solid results given his limited role. Raty can rack up hits in bunches while chipping in depth offense if he earns a regular spot in Vancouver’s lineup this year, but he isn't guaranteed to win that position out of training camp.
