2025 Fantasy Outlook
Anderson-Dolan was limited to one assist across seven regular-season appearances in 2024-25, but he also had a goal and a helper over five playoff outings while the Jets' forward group was thinned out by injuries. A full-time role won't be available to him in 2025-26, at least at the start of the campaign, so he may be waived for reassignment to AHL Manitoba, where he had 19 points in 51 appearances last season. He's had just one good scoring season in the AHL back in 2021-22, so expect him to fill a fourth-line role at best if he gets any NHL action. Read Past Outlooks
On waivers
Winnipeg waived Anderson-Dolan on Wednesday, according to Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press.
ANALYSIS
Anderson-Dolan had seven goals, 19 points and 30 PIM across 51 regular-season outings with AHL Manitoba in 2024-25. He also recorded an assist in seven regular-season appearances with the Jets before adding a goal and an assist across five outings during the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs. It seems Anderson-Dolan will start the season in the minors if he goes unclaimed, but the 26-year-old should be among Winnipeg's top call-up options.

Anderson-Dolan inked a two-year contract with the Jets in July after the Predators didn't give him a qualifying offer. The 24-year-old center was selected 41st overall in the 2017 NHL Draft by the Kings, but he was never able to crack the line for any sustained period during his six-year stay in LA. Anderson-Dolan was claimed off waivers by the Predators in March, but he saw action in only one NHL game for Nashville, after picking up a goal and three assists in 30 games with the Kings. His best season was two years ago when he managed to score seven goals and add five assists in 46 games. Anderson-Dolan comes to Winnipeg as a depth forward, who will likely see fourth-line action or be a healthy scratch, barring a slew of injuries.
