Bags helper Tuesday
DTampa Bay Lightning
April 16, 2025
Moser logged an assist in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Panthers.
ANALYSIS
The lopsided nature of the game allowed Moser to lead the Lightning with 19:29 of ice time. The helper snapped his eight-game point drought. Moser is up to two goals, 12 assists, 47 shots on net, 69 blocked shots, 34 hits and a plus-20 rating over 53 appearances. A long-term lower-body injury took a toll on Moser's production, but he's been steady defensively in a top-four role.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
Moser was dealt to Tampa Bay in the offseason in the trade that sent Mikhail Sergachev to Utah. The 24-year-old Moser had five goals and 26 points over 80 contests last campaign. He was also credited with 112 blocked shots and a career-high 99 hits. Moser has reached the 30-point mark once in his first three NHL seasons and doesn't produce many shots on goal, which hinders his fantasy value. Still, he will probably occupy a top-four role and log big minutes on the penalty kill.
In his second NHL season, Moser secured top-pairing minutes with the Coyotes. He averaged 21:03 of ice time, second-most among skaters with at least 50 games played in Arizona. With that increased role, he tallied seven goals and 24 assists, including three goals and eight assists with the man advantage. The 23-year-old also led the team with 137 blocked shots while adding 80 hits and 35 PIM. Moser played all 82 games last year and will once again be relied on as a workhorse for the Coyotes during the 2023-24 campaign. He should produce 30-plus points for the second straight season, though the addition of Sean Durzi in a trade with the Kings could reduce Moser's power-play time.
