Karson Kuhlman

Kuhlman drew into 25 games with Boston last year, picking up six points while averaging 12:32 of ice time per contest. The 25-year-old American may have a full-time job as a bottom-sixer to begin the year, but he'll be relegated to a rotational role as a depth forward as soon as David Pastrnak (hip) is ready to join the lineup, which should happen in mid-February.

Kuhlman, who was signed by the Bruins following a successful stint in the 2018 NCAA Frozen Four, came to the franchise with little fanfare, but his strong work at the AHL level led to the 23-year-old being summoned by the big club. In 11 regular-season games for Boston, Kuhlman logged three goals and five points, and didn't look one bit out of place at the NHL level. Though the University of Minnesota-Duluth product doesn't profile as a big fantasy contributor, Kuhlman's energy, versatility and strong hockey IQ could lead to him eventually carving out a steady bottom-six role with the Bruins.
