2026 Fantasy Outlook
Jensen had four goals, 17 points, 36 shots on net, 65 blocked shots and 38 hits in 61 appearances with Ottawa during the 2025-26 regular season. He signed a two-year contract with Anaheim in July. Jensen underwent knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus, but he should be ready for training camp in the fall. The Ducks don’t have much depth on the right side, which will probably give Jensen a solid chance to be a regular on the second or third pairing. At his best, he can cross the 20-point plateau while topping 100 blocks and contributing some hits. However, he probably won’t do enough to move the meter much from a fantasy perspective. Good to go for training camp Tuesday
Jensen (lower body) will return to practice Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Jensen didn't play in Saturday's scrimmage after leaving practice early Friday, but he was seemingly nursing a minor injury. The Ducks are very thin on the right side of their blue line, so Jensen is expected to fill a fairly sizable role in 2026-27. However, he's more of a defensive defenseman, so his fantasy value is very minimal.

Jensen accounted for three goals, 21 points, 77 shots, 55 hits and 95 blocks across 71 regular-season appearances in 2024-25. He also suited up in all six of Ottawa’s playoff outings before undergoing hip surgery. Jensen played through the injury for most of the campaign, and it’s unclear if he will be ready for the beginning of the 2025-26 season. Even if he doesn’t miss much time, the defensive-minded defender won’t move the needle much in fantasy leagues and won't need to be stashed on managers' injured reserve lists.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Unlikely to rejoin team
Jensen, who will miss the rest of the regular season following knee surgery, may have played in his last game for Ottawa, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Jensen is in the final season of a three-year deal he signed with the Capitals back in February of 2023, and according to Garrioch, is unlikely to re-sign with the Senators following the 2025-26 campaign. Assuming Ottawa doesn't make the postseason, Jensen will finish the year having generated four goals and 13 assists in 61 contests.
