Reid Schaefer

Schaefer saw bottom-six minutes as a rookie in 2025-26, earning six goals, two assists, 39 shots on net, 108 hits, 30 blocked shots and 17 PIM over 47 contests. The winger saw his minutes drop quite a bit at the end of the season with Nashville's failed push for a late playoff spot. That shouldn't impact his long-term potential, which could see him grow into a role as a middle-six power forward. He was selective with his shots, shooting 15.4 percent last year, but he'll need to improve his shot volume to make gains on offense. Expect the winger to spend much of his age-23 campaign in a bottom-six role. He'll have the potential for 15-20 points with 180-plus hits and 50-plus PIM if he carves out a regular spot in the lineup. Read Past Outlooks
