Fagemo appears to have lost out on a roster spot to the likes of Walker Duehr and Cole Koepke, though he could still be called up from the minors prior to Opening Night against the Stars on Oct. 9. Injuries will almost certainly give Fagemo a chance to play in the NHL this year, but the bulk of his workload will likely come with AHL Manitoba.

2020 Fantasy Outlook
Fagemo appears ready to make the jump to North America in 2020-21. He's been a solid player with Frolunda in the Swedish league, posting 47 points in 86 games over the last three years. A second-round pick in 2019, a roster spot on Opening Night is far from guaranteed for Fagemo, as he'll need to outplay Matt Luff for a bottom-six job. Fagemo may also need a year or two with AHL Ontario to develop his skills, so fantasy managers in redraft leagues can likely leave him on the board on draft day. Dynasty managers may want to stash the Swede with the hopes that he can become a solid second-line player within two to three years.
