Fades in loss to Pannie Kianzad
December 19, 2020
Eubanks lost to Pannie Kianzad via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
It was a typical Eubanks fight in the sense that she was fine when her takedowns were landing and not particularly effective when they weren't. Her best round was easily the first. She forced Kianzad to the mat quickly and managed to rack up 4:23 worth of control time in Round 1 alone. As the fight progressed and Eubanks was visibly exhausted, she became less effective. She landed the harder shots on the feet, but Kianzad wore her down with volume. Eubanks built up some good will following a shocking win over Julia Avila in September, but she lost to Ketlen Vieira two weeks later and dropped another here to Kianzad. Eubanks is now 4-4 in the UFC, with all eight of those fights having seen the final bell.

Set to face Pannie Kianzad
November 17, 2020
Eubanks will take on Pannie Kianzad in Las Vegas on Dec. 19, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
Eubanks carried a two-fight winning streak into her most recent fight but wasn't able to extend it to three, losing a unanimous decision against Ketlen Vieira in September in her most recent fight. Kianzad will be looking for a three-fight winning streak herself in this matchup.
Falls at UFC 253
September 26, 2020
Eubanks lost to Ketlen Vieira via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC 253 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
Eubanks looked pretty good considering she fought (and won) just two weeks ago. Once again entering as a (+175) underdog, Eubanks struggled early before beginning to find her range. She clearly won Round 3, but the damage was already done. Eubanks isn't the type of fighter who can generate a ton of offense in a short amount of time, so she will almost certainly be in trouble if she spots her opposition a round or two. Eubanks isn't any sort of contender, but she appears to be legitimately improving, and even that's an accomplishment considering she is 35 years old. Her stock shouldn't drop much despite this defeat.
Will replace Reneau on Sept. 26
September 16, 2020
Eubanks will fight Ketlen Vieira at UFC 253 on Sept. 26, Brett Okamoto of ESPN reports.
Eubanks is replacing Marion Reneau, who has been forced to withdraw from the event due to an undisclosed injury, in the fight. Going into the matchup, Eubanks will be coming off an upset win over Julia Avila via submission last weekend, while Reneau hasn't fought since last December suffering a loss to Irene Aldana at UFC 245.
Strong effort as underdog
September 12, 2020
Eubanks defeated Julia Avila via unanimous decision (29-27, 29-27, 29-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
It was a strong, unexpected performance from Eubanks. It didn't start well, but she really began to pour it on Avila over the course of the final ten minutes. "Sarj" ended up with a 107-66 edge in total strikes landed, in addition to connecting on 3-of-7 takedown attempts. She also had three submission attempts and was credited with nine passes. All this from a woman who entered as a significant +255 underdog. Eubanks' future is exceedingly bleak due to her age (35 years old) and lack of power in her hands (two career knockouts), but she is strong and durable. Eubanks is now 4-2 in her UFC career, with all six fights ending via unanimous decision.
New matchup Sept. 12
September 4, 2020
Eubanks will now take on Julia Avila in a bantamweight matchup at the UFC event scheduled for Sept. 12, reports.
Both of these fighters have recently ran into a cancellation, as Eubanks was supposed to face Karoline Rosa on Sept. 5 before Rosa dropped out due to weight-cutting issues. Avila has a matchup with Nicco Montano scheduled for early October, but Montano had to withdraw after a positive COVID-19 test. Avila will hold height and reach advantages over Eubanks, but Eubanks has a major edge in both striking and takedown volume. Eubanks recently picked up her first win in three bouts against Sarah Moras, while Avila is 2-0 under the UFC banner.
