McKinney match rescheduled
Ziam will take on Terrance McKinney on Feb. 26, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
ANALYSIS
Ziam and McKinney were expected to meet No. 20, but the match was called off on the day of the fight after a member of McKinney's team tested positive for COVID-19. It was far too late for Ziam to remain on the card against a new opponent, so he'll wind up waiting just over three more months to finally return to the Octagon.

Hangs on for majority decision win
Ziam defeated Luigi Vendramini via majority decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-28) at UFC 263 on Saturday in Glendale, Arizona.
ANALYSIS
Ziam ended up hanging on for dear life in a fight that he appeared to have in the bag after the first two rounds. Appearing to be twice Vendramini's size inside the Octagon, Ziam sat back and picked his opponent apart on the feet over the course of the first ten minutes. When the bell rang for Round 3, Ziam immediately found himself on the defensive and was never able to get on track throughout the course of the frame. One judge felt Vendramini's dominant third frame earned him a 10-8 score, but the other two judges scored it 10-9, and thus Ziam took the majority decision. Ziam has now won back-to-back decisions since dropping his UFC debut to Don Madge back in September 2019.

Set to fight in June
Ziam is scheduled to enter the Octagon against Luigi Vendramini at UFC 263 on June 12, Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting reports.
ANALYSIS
Ziam will look to make it two consecutive wins when he faces Vendramini in three months from the day. His prior victory was won via unanimous decision as separated himself from his opponent in the final round of the fight. Ziam has a five-inch advantage over his opponent however, Vendramini outreaches him by nine inches. The two competitors are young and up-and-coming fighters in the promotion and are looking to prove they belong in this Lightweight bout.
