Ziam is scheduled to enter the Octagon against Luigi Vendramini at UFC 263 on June 12, Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting reports.
ANALYSIS
Ziam will look to make it two consecutive wins when he faces Vendramini in three months from the day. His prior victory was won via unanimous decision as separated himself from his opponent in the final round of the fight. Ziam has a five-inch advantage over his opponent however, Vendramini outreaches him by nine inches. The two competitors are young and up-and-coming fighters in the promotion and are looking to prove they belong in this Lightweight bout.

Notches questionable decision win
LightweightUFC
October 17, 2020
Ziam defeated Jamie Mullarkey via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28,) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
ANALYSIS
Ziam did well to frustrate his opponent with movement and counter shots in Round 1 and capped off the frame with a slick reversal from bottom position. The fight got dicey from there, however, as Mullarkey's persistence in the grappling paid off, and Ziam found himself controlled on his back for large portions of the remaining rounds. A scramble in Round 3 where he almost took Mullarkey's back must have done it for the judges, though it's a bit of a tough sell, as the opponent controlled the round to that point. Regardless, Ziam gets his first win in the Octagon after a frustrating loss to Don Madge in his debut. It's clear Ziam is a skilled kickboxer with a nice defensive juijitsu game, but he's going to need to stay on his feet if he's going to have sustained sucess. Ziam improves to 11-3 in professional MMA as a result of the victory.

Gets stalled out in debut

September 7, 2019
Ziam lost to Don Madge via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 29-28) at UFC 242 in The Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Ziam came into this fight as a credentialed kickboxer, which may be the reason his opponent decided to employ a clinch-heavy attack. Ziam was stifled from the opening bell, as Madge would pressure and look to clinch during every exchange. The brief moments we saw of him in space looked promising, so it will be interesting to see Ziam in a matchup with an opponent willing to strike. He falls to 10-3 in professional MMA as a result of the loss.

Ziam will face Don Madge at UFC 242 in Abu Dhabi, MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
After Madge's original opponent Magomed Mustafaev withdrew due to undisclosed reasons, Ziam will make his UFC debut. The Algerian-French national will have a huge opportunity, as he's been tabbed an intriguing prospect with a 10-2-0 professional record. The fight will give Ziam the chance to prove himself against another top prospect in Madge.
