Pinheiro will fight Jessica Penne in a strawweight bout at the April 30 UFC event, Farah Hannoun of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
After having their fight cancelled in November when Penne withdrew, the two women will face off in April. Pinheiro ended up fighting Sam Hughes instead Nov. 20, winning the bout via unanimous decision. The 28-year-old will look to build off of the takedowns that earned her the victory over Hughes when she takes on the 38-year-old Penne in a couple months.

Pinheiro defeated Sam Hughes via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It was a clear cut victory for Pinheiro against a clearly inferior opponent, but it would have been nice to see her pick up the stoppage win considering she entered as a -380 favorite, one of the largest on the entire card. The striking numbers between the two women were actually quite even, but Pinheiro gained some separation with a pair of successful takedowns. A product of Dana White's Contender Series, the Brazilian has now picked up victories in each of her first two official UFC bouts.

Pinheiro (finger) will fight Jessica Penne on November 20, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
ANALYSIS
Pinheiro's 180 day medical suspension is set to expire in late October, which opens the door for her to take on Penne less than a month later. Pinheiro picked up a DQ victory over Randa Markos in her UFC debut after Markos delivered an illegal kick in Round 1. In Penne, she will be facing off against a fighter coming off consecutive wins.
