Facing six-month suspension
June 22, 2021
O'Neill is facing a six-month medical suspension, reports.
O'Neill will need clearance following a left hand injury in her submission victory over Lara Procopio. That brought O'Neill's record to 2-0 in the UFC and 7-0 overall. If she can't get her hand clear she will be be unable to fight until mid-December.
Second straight stoppage win
June 19, 2021
O'Neill defeated Lara Procopio via technical submission (rear-naked choke) at 2:54 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
O'Neill had to work considerably harder in this fight than in her second-round knockout victory over Shana Dobson in her company debut this past February, but the end result was the same. O'Neill got off to a slow start before wrestling away the momentum on the strength of her physicality in tight. She slowly began to limit Procopio's space and looked excellent in the clinch. O'Neill's future potential remains an open question despite stoppage victories in her first two UFC bouts. She has all of seven professional fights under her belt at just 23 years of age and has never fought anyone of note. It's going to be quite a while before we get a realistic idea of the upside here.

Gets dominant win in UFC debut

O'Neill defeated Shana Dobson via TKO (punches) at 3:41 of Round 2 at UFC Vegas 19 on Saturday.
During the striking exchanges, the two brawled, and each had success. It was O'Neill's willingness to grapple that propelled her to victory. O'Neill was able to secure mount in Round 2, which led to a lot of control time while landing ground-and-pound. O'Neill secured 7:26 of control time and landed 132 total strikes compared to Dobson's 27.
UFC debut on tap

She most recently fought in September at UAE Warriors 13, defeating Christina Stelliou via TKO (ground and pound). Dobson was handed a six-month medical suspension for a ribs injury in August after defeating Mariya Agapova via TKO (strikes) in a legendary upset. The two fighters are even in height.
