Second straight knockout loss
LightweightPFL
April 16, 2022
Jenkins lost to Drakkar Klose via TKO (strikes) at 0:33 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Shockingly little was expected of Jenkins here considering he entered as a +425 underdog, but he fought worse than even that number would indicate. He was battered and knocked down once in the opening frame, in addition to giving up a pair of successful takedowns to Klose. The finish mercifully came early in Round 2 when another combination forced referee Herb Dean to step in. Jenkins wasn't happy with the stoppage, but considering he could barely stand, it's quite clear Dean made the correct call. Jenkins has now been brutally knocked out in each of his first two UFC bouts, and it's far from a guarantee he gets a third opportunity with the company.

Draws Drakkar Klose in April
LightweightPFL
January 16, 2022
Jenkins will take on Drakkar Klose in a lightweight battle at the UFC event scheduled for April 16, Mike Heck of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins alternated wins and losses under the LFA banner for a multi-year stretch before putting together a three-fight winning streak that finished with a first-round KO in Professional Fighters League. That led to his UFC signing, but the 30-year-old "Human Highlight Reel" looked terrible in his first action with the company, losing decisively to Zhu Rong. Jenkins was taken down six times in that fight, plus absorbed 86 significant strikes and a knockdown before being finished late in the third. He'll obviously be looking to right the ship against Klose, where he'll enter with height and reach advantages, in addition to being the younger fighter. Jenkins has also been the much more active fighter of late, as various issues will have sidelined Klose for more than two years by the time this fight date arrives. While the results for Jenkins have been mixed, five of his last six fights have ended via stoppage, so the likelihood of a finish on either end is strong.
Hammered in UFC debut
LightweightPFL
September 18, 2021
Jenkins lost to Zhu Rong via TKO (punches) at 4:35 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins' UFC debut didn't go all that well, but he will walk away with 20 percent of Rong's purse after the latter missed weight by two pounds on Friday morning. It would have been interesting to see what Jenkins -- who is noted for his power -- could have done in an extended kickboxing match, but his inability to stay off of his back ensured he had no chance of winning this fight. Jenkins is going to get another fight with the company, especially after his willingness to go through with this one following Rong's weight miss, but there doesn't appear to be much to be excited about here.
Facing heavy opponent
LightweightPFL
September 17, 2021
Jenkins will be fighting a heavy opponent Saturday after Zhu Rong came in two pounds over the lightweight limit at Friday's weigh-ins, Alexander K Lee of MMA Fighting reports.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins will be making his UFC debut Saturday against a heavy opponent, as Rong will have to forfeit 20 percent of his purse. If anyone, Jenkins should have been the one to surpass the weight limit after accepting the fight on extremely short notice.

ANALYSIS
Jenkins will be stepping in for Dakota Bush who had to withdraw due to a positive COVID-19 test. Jenkins is riding a three-fight win streak and made highlights a month ago with his flying knee knockout of Jacob Kilburn.
