Facing Dober in March
January 4, 2022
Glenn will fight Drew Dober in a lightweight bout at UFC's March 12 event, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
Glenn recovered from some early miscues to earn a draw when taking on Grant Dawson in October, and he defeated Joaquim Silva via KO (punches) earlier in 2021. Dober is looking for his first victory since 2020 after losing to Islam Makhachev and Brad Riddell in 2021.

Battles back to earn draw
October 23, 2021
Glenn and Grant Dawson fought to a majority draw (28-29, 28-28, 28-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
It takes an army to get Glenn out of the Octagon, and this fight was no exception. He could have packed his bags and went home after being down 20-18 heading into the final frame, but Glenn put on his working boots and hammered Dawson to the tune of a 66-2 edge in total strikes landed in Round 3. It was an amazing and highly improbable turnaround after Glenn landed just 22 total strikes over the course of the first ten minutes. Glenn has been a professional for more than 15 years, and while he's not the most athletic or most powerful fighter on the roster, he's seen it all inside the Octagon, and that always gives him a chance -- even in fights like this one where he was viewed as a massive (+385) underdog.
Draws Dawson on Oct. 23
October 11, 2021
Glenn will take on Grant Dawson in a lightweight matchup at the UFC event scheduled for Oct. 23, Farah Hannoun of MMAJunkie.com reports.
Glenn has alternated wins and losses in his last five UFC fights, most recently finishing Joaquim Silva in the first round last June. He'll have his work cut out for him against a streaking opponent in Dawson, as the oddsmakers currently list Glenn as approximately a (+240) betting underdog. Glenn has the edge in striking volume, but the challenge here will be keeping the fight upright. Dawson lands 3.44 takedowns per 15 minutes of fight time, while Glenn has a good (but not great) 66 percent takedown defense.
Dominant effort following layoff
June 19, 2021
Glenn defeated Joaquim Silva via KO (punches) at 0:37 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
It was a standout performance from Glenn in his first fight in well over two and a half years. All it took to finish Silva was one huge right hand and a couple dozen follow up shots. Glenn, who entered as a +110 underdog, is more than deserving of a Performance of the Night bonus for this effort (though it didn't come to pass on a card full of finishes). Glenn has been a professional since 2006. He's limited from an athletic standpoint, but he's always had underrated power and isn't going to beat himself inside the Octagon. The 32-year-old Iowa native should be back in the cage in short order considering how quickly he dispatched Silva on Saturday.
Return booked for June
April 3, 2021
Glenn (undisclosed) will fight Joaquim Silva on June 19, Mike Heck of MMAFighting.com reports.
Glenn will return to the Octagon for the first time since November of 2018 when he lost via unanimous decision to Kevin Aguilar. Silva will be in a similar position, as he hasn't fought since August of 2019 when he was knocked out by Nasrat Haqparast in Round 2.
Withdraws from upcoming fight
December 16, 2020
Glenn was forced to withdraw from Saturday's fight against Carlton Minus for undisclosed reasons, MMAFighting.com reports.
It remains unclear why Glenn is unable to go. The UFC is actively looking for a replacement to fight Minus.
