Remains undefeated in UFC
Donchenko defeated Punahele Soriano via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Paris.
ANALYSIS
Donchenko continues to get the job done, although this performance wasn't quite as strong as his first three UFC appearances. He knocked Soriano down in Round 1 but was unable to get him out of there. Sporting a 70-11 edge in significant strikes landed through ten minutes, Donchenko gassed out in Round 3, allowing Soriano to land three takedowns and 3:16 worth of control time. Thankfully for the Ukrainian, the fight was already over. Donchenko improves to 4-0 with the company, having alternated unanimous decision and knockout wins in his four appearances.

Donchenko will head into the fight looking to extend his perfect 3-0 start to his UFC career as well as his overall nine-fight win streak dating back to January of 2024 across promotions. The 24-year-old Ukrainian will have to overcome a reach disadvantage in comparison to the older American fighter. Donchenko is a perfect 3-0 since officially joining the UFC following season 33 of The Ultimate Fighter. 11 of his 14 career wins have been by stoppage.
