Francis kept things remarkably simple, limiting Brennan's space and leaning on his grappling game. All it took was a pair of successful takedowns and 6:36 worth of control time to cruise to the decision win. It's hard to say Marshall deserves a step up in competition considering he's just 4-3 in his first seven UFC fights, but he has considerably more talent than that record would lead you to believe.
