Scheduled to fight newcomer
Marshall will fight Isaac Dulgarian in a featherweight bout at UFC Vegas 78 on Aug. 12, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Late surge not enough
Marshall lost to William Gomis via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Marshall had problems all night getting inside against the much taller and longer Gomis. He appeared to tell his corner at one point in between rounds, "I can't hit him." To Marshall's credit, he appeared to be well on his way to dropping a clear decision before he exploded in the final minutes, landing a couple takedowns and clamping on what appeared to be two very deep submission attempts, which Gomis managed to survive. It's the first professional loss for the 24-year-old New Jersey native, who should return to the Octagon in fairly short order.

Marshall defeated Marcelo Rojo via KO (punches) at 1:14 of Round 2 at UFC on ESPN 24 on Saturday in Orlando.
