Scheduled against Landwehr

Sabatini is scheduled to compete against Nate Landwehr in a featherweight fight at UFC Atlantic City on March 30, per Nolan King of USA Today.
ANALYSIS
Sabatini will look to establish some more consistency in 2024, beginning with a win over Landwehr. After all, inconsistency defined his 2023. Sabatini obliterated Lucas Almeida at UFC on ESPN 47 but found himself at the receiving end of an obliteration against Diego Lopes at UFC 295.

Sabatini lost to Diego Lopes via KO (punches) at 1:30 of Round 1 at UFC 295 on Saturday in New York City.
ANALYSIS
This was a truly awful performance from Sabatini in a pick 'em bout. A noted wrestler that struggles when his takedowns aren't landing, Pat failed on both of his attempts and then got cracked by Lopes as he was getting back to his feet. He was never able to recover, and referee Keith Peterson was stepping in moments later. Sabatini's 5-2 record in his first seven UFC bouts is plenty reasonable, but he's lost two of his last three, and at age 33, there's nothing to suggest any sort of breakthrough is forthcoming.
Draws Lopes at UFC 295

Sabatini will take on Diego Lopes in a featherweight matchup at UFC 295 on November 11, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Sabatini sits with a tremendous 5-1 record in UFC fights, and most recently bounced back from his only loss with a second-round submission over Lucas Almeida in June. On paper, he'll be giving up three inches in height and two inches of reach to Lopes, which he'll presumably look to negate with his wrestling. Sabatini averages an impressive 3.83 takedowns per 15 minutes of fight time, and while it's only a three-fight sample size, Lopes has a well below-average 33 percent takedown defense.
Obliterates Lucas Almeida

Sabatini defeated Lucas Almeida via submission (arm-triangle choke) at 1:48 of Round 2 at UFC on ESPN 47 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
In need of a rebound performance on the heels of his 69-second submission loss to Damon Jackson last September, Sabatini put forth one of the most dominant performances you will ever see. In a fight which lasted 6:48, Pat was credited with 6:27 worth of control time. He landed 2-of-3 takedowns, finished with an 88-3 edge in total strikes landed, and, of course, landed the arm-triangle which caused Almeida to tap. Sabatini is extremely reliant on his grappling game for success, but he's excellent in that area, as his 5-1 mark in his first half-dozen bouts shows it.

Sabatini will face Lucas Almeida in a featherweight contest at a UFC event on June 17 in Las Vegas, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Sabatini is coming off his first UFC loss at the hands of Damon Jackson, who disposed of him in the first found. He'll look to bounce back against Almeida, who defeated Mike Trizano in his UFC debut in June of 2022.
