Verstappen took pole for Red Bull at the opening Grand Pix of the new Formula One season in Bahrain. He delivered with perfection at the Sakhir circuit to leave world champion Lewis Hamilton unable to match him in second, The Guardian reports.
ANALYSIS
It was a dominant run for the Red Bull driver. Verstappen ran an error-free lap of the Bahrain circuit. It came on the heels of two strong practice sessions Friday for the Dutchman. Verstappen's lap was almost four tenths better than Hamilton. He will roll off P1 in Sunday's race. It was Verstappen's fourth-career pole position.
