Past Fantasy Outlooks
2014
2008
The Australian returned home after the conclusion of the 2014 NASCAR season and nearly a decade of racing in the U.S. Ambrose has taken the seat of a new V8 Supercar team in Australia and plans to build it into a championship team in the coming years.
Ambrose had what can only be termed as a successful season in 2012. For the second-straight year he won a race and finished a career-best 18th in the driver standings. Now the No. 9 Ford team sets their sites on climbing the ladder. Ambrose is still looking for his first oval track victory and he’s still looking for a first-ever berth in the Chase. Those will be the goals for this driver and team in 2013. In a Sprint Cup Series filled with parity Ambrose has his work cut out for him, but improvement is entirely possible. The Aussie is a gifted driver and he just gets better each and every season.
