Subbing for Felipe Fraga at Daytona
Pigot will sub for Felipe Fraga at the wheel of the No. 74 Riley Motorsports Ligier JS P320 Nissan for the Rolex 24 at Daytona due to a "COVID-19-related immigration issue" for the Brazilian, sportscar365.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Due to some unfortunate circumstances regarding COVID-19 and international travel, Fraga will be unable to compete in the upcoming Rolex 24. Veteran driver Pigot will take his place in the No. 74 entry of Riley Motorsports. He'll join Gar Robinson, Oliver Askew and Scott Andrews in the team's LMP3 Nissan. Pigot made one IMSA start last season, helping the No. 52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports team to a runner-up finish at Sebring.
