Alexander Isak Injury: Not an option, possibility Sunday

Isak (groin) is out for Tuesday's match against Real Madrid, according to manager Arne Slot. "[Alex is] not available for tomorrow. With Alex, we have to wait and see. Definitely not starting on Sunday, but maybe he can be involved in the squad. He is still not training with the team, so we have to wait and see."

Isak is still battling his injury issues and will not make the call for Tuesday, missing out on the massive tilt against Real Madrid and hitting the sidelines for a third straight game. He will now turn to Sunday's game for a return, but is yet to train, leaving him still on the outside looking in. That said, even if he is an option Sunday, the club said he would be limited and not see the start, leaving Hugo Ekitike to continue as the starting forward.
