Alvaro Fidalgo Injury: Needs more time to recover
Fidalgo is likely to miss the weekend's match versus Leon as he looks to ease the pain in his knee ahead of the final stages of the competition, Gibran Araige of TUDN reported Monday.
Fidalgo may not appear again until the postseason, leaving a vacant spot in the Azulcremas' ideal lineup for a couple of games. The midfielder has lacked consistency in recent weeks due to an issue he has described as a congenital condition rather than an injury, which doesn't require surgery. While his omission is impactful in terms of ball distribution, it can be covered by more defensive-minded assets such as Alan Cervantes and Jonathan dos Santos.
