Fidalgo joined Betis midway through 2025/26 from Club America, making nine La Liga appearances as he adapted to European football after years as a standout playmaker in Liga MX. The Spanish-born Mexico international is a creative central midfielder who racked up big assist and chance-creation numbers in Mexico, so there is untapped fantasy potential if he settles. The small La Liga sample makes his role hard to judge yet. Mexico's World Cup ended in the round of 16, so he is back early. Knee condition limits him
Fidalgo stayed on the bench during Friday's win over Real Sociedad, and coach Manuel Pellegrini said "Fidalgo has a knee that isn't at 100 percent", Pablo Sanchez of Zona Mixta reports.
