Est. Return 1/31/2026
Sidelined due to physical issue
Sanchez was excluded from the squad in the last game versus Tijuana while being in a strength recovery phase, Fernando Trujillo of Claro Sports reported Friday.
ANALYSIS
Sanchez's Clausura debut will have to wait at least until the second game, as the team doesn't want to risk him suffering a serious injury. He was fairly active during the second half of 2025, when he registered two goals along with 25 shots (nine on goal), 12 chances created and 16 tackles in 15 appearances (12 starts). He may eventually be in contention with Alexis Gutierrez and offseason signing Rodrigo Dourado, both of whom featured in his absence.
