Andre Onana Injury: Option to face Arsenal

Onana (hamstring) is available to face Arsenal on Sunday, manager Ruben Amorim told media during his pre-match press conference Friday. "Josh recovered, Andre recovered, they're options for this game, we will see."

Onana missed time during the preseason with a hamstring issue, but the Cameroonian will be fit and ready for the beginning of a new league campaign. He's widely expected to be the starter this season if healthy, pushing Altay Bayindir to the bench. Onana allowed 44 goals across 34 starts in the 2024/25 Premier League campaign.
