Aymeric Laporte News: Returns to Athletic Club

Laporte has signed with Athletic Club, according to his new club.

Laporte is back in Spain for the first time since the 2017/18 season, returning to Athletic Club nearly 10 years after leaving the club where he developed his skills. He last served with Al Nasr in the Saudi Pro League, appearing in 30 games while bagging five goals from the defense. He will now look to help the defense as a veteran prospect at the age of 31, competing with Aitor Paredes and Dani Vivian for a starting role.
