Ayoze Perez Injury: In final process before return

Perez (hamstring) is in the final process of his rehabilitation and is expected to return next week, coach Marcelino Garcia said in the press conference.

Perez returned in a pre-season friendly but that was part of his rehabilitation since he is still in the final process of his muscular injury and will not be available for the season opener against Real Oviedo. Coach Marcelino Garcia said he will most likely return next week for the clash against Girona next Sunday. That said, he will have to compete with Gerard Moreno for a starting role this season since the captain is fully fit at the beginning of the season.
