Perez enjoyed a productive if injury-interrupted 2025/26, scoring five goals and adding four assists in 25 appearances as a versatile forward for a Villarreal side pushing for Europe. When fit he is a genuine contributor, able to play across the front line and chip in from deeper areas, and nine goal involvements in limited minutes points to a healthy per-90 return. The catch is availability, since he has not been a guaranteed 34-game starter and Villarreal carry plenty of attacking options under Inigo Perez, so his minutes can swing. That caps his ceiling as a set-and-forget pick. Still, at the right price he offers useful output for a strong team, and if he strings together a run of starts he returns well. Treat him as a rotation-risk forward with real quality when he plays.
