Bafode Diakite News: Joins AFC Bournemouth

Diakite has joined AFC Bournemouth from Lille on a permanent move, his new club announced.

Diakite is departing Lille after three seasons in the north of France, featuring in 112 games across all competitions, scoring 13 goals as a center-back and playing in two European campaigns. The central defender will now discover the Premier League and immediately replace Illia Zabarnyi in the Cherries' starting XI after that the Ukranian left the club to sign for Paris Saint-Germain.
