Hugo Ekitike Injury: Suspected cramp suffered

Ekitike (hamstring) is confident he only felt a cramp, according to James Pearce of The Athletic. According to manager Arne Slot, "He felt something when he had to reach for the ball. I think we all know which one it was when we were trying to force something."

Ekitike came off in the second half of Tuesday's Champions League clash with Galatasaray with a hamstring issue. The striker appears to have avoided a serious injury though, as he told reporters after the game it was only a cramp. Ekitike will still be a doubt for Saturday's trip to Chelsea, with Alexander Isak in line for the start.
