Luciano Acosta News: Transfers to Fluminense

Acosta has completed a permanent transfer from FC Dallas to Fluminense, his former club announced Friday.

Acosta will get to prove himself in one of the best leagues in the world, and he should compete for regular minutes in midfield alongside the likes of Hercules, Nonato and Ganso. Acosta leaves Dallas having notched five goals and one assist across 21 appearances in 2025, a considerable downgrade compared to his MVP-caliber seasons at FC Cincinnati between 2021 and 2024.
