Ryan Sessegnon Injury: Set for assessment
Sessegon (undisclosed) is set for assessment after suffering an injury in a friendly against Frankfurt on Saturday, according to manager Marco Silva. "He felt something. Let's see in the next few hours or a few days how he reacts. We'll do some exams on him. Let's hope that he can be ready for the beginning of the season."
Sessegon is still awaiting the results of his injury after an early exit in a friendly, as the defender is set for assessment. The hope now is that the defender can recover ahead of their first match on Aug. 16, although he will have to avoid anything major. With Antinee Robinson (knee) still recovering, the club could be put in a bind at left-back if Sessegon also misses time, possibly forcing Jorge Cuenca to start opening day.
